Mr jones had a few day’s holiday, so he said: ‘I’m going to go to the mountain by train.’
He put on his best clothes, took a small bag, went to the station and got into the train. He had a beautiful hat, and he often put his head out of the window during the trip and looked at the mountains. But the wind pulled his hat off.
Mr jones quickly took his old bag and threw that out of the window too.
The other people laughed. ‘Is your bag going to bring your beautiful hat back?’ they asked.
‘No’, Mr jones answered, ‘but there’s no name and no address in my hat, but there’s a name and an address on the bag. Some one’s going to find both of them near each other, and he’s going to send me the bag and the hat.’

كلاه و كيف
آقاي جون تعطيلات چند روزه داشت.گفت كه: من مي خواهم باقطار به كوهستان بروم .
اوبهترين لباس هايش را پوشيد و كيف كوچكش راگرفت وبه ايستگاه رفت، سوار قطار شد. . اوكلاه زيبايي داشت درطول سفر گاه گاهي سرش را از پنجرهي قطار بيرون مي برد تا كوهستان را نگاه كند . اما باد كلاه اورا برد.
آقاي جون به سرعت كيف قديمي اش را برداشت واز پنجره بيرون انداخت .
مردم به او خنديدند وپرسيدند؟ايا كيف تو ميخواهد كلاه زيبايت رابرايت بياورد؟
آقاي جون گفت : نه . روي كلاهم نه اسمي هست ونه آدرسي اما كيفم اسم وآدرس دارد . به زودي شخصي هر دوي آن ها را در كنار هم پيدا مي كند و كيف وكلاهم را برايم مي فرستد .
